Workshop to focus on rural and small membership ministry

The Oklahoma Annual Conference will host a rural and smaller membership focused workshop to address how to use the togetherness, experience, and resources a congregation has in order to achieve more than they thought they could.
“How to Do More with Less – Leading the Post-Pandemic Church” will be held on Oct. 26 at OKC-New Hope. The one-day workshop will be led by author and ministry coach Rebekah Simon-Peter whose books “Dream Like Jesus” and “Forging a New Path” create the basis for the workshop. Simon-Peter also used “Dream Like Jesus” as the basis for her coaching of the Oklahoma Conference’s first Academy for Innovative Ministry cohort in 2019.
Cost is $50 per person. Lunch, handouts, and both books are included. For more information, contact Derrek Belase, executive director of Connectional Ministry, at dbelase@okumc.org. Register online at https://okumc-reg.brtapp.com/HowToPostPandemicChurch2022.
