UMC offers resources for GC2020
General Conference 2020 will take place from May 5-15 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. General Conference is the denomination’s highest legislative body, and what takes place at General Conference has the potential to impact believers around the world.
Although the way the church approaches how it puts its faith to action, the central mission “to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world” will continue to guide the calling of the people called Methodists.
In order to help both lay and clergy leaders understand what is taking place at General Conference, the Contact has assembled a selection of resources that explore the schedule, proposals, pre-conference presentations and various issues that will be covered during the event.
