Retired elder Bob Langston passed away at age 82 on May 5, 2023, in Ada. Rev. Langston was serving Allen UMC. He had served many Oklahoma churches since his initial appointment at Madill in 1976, including Granite, Pawhuska, Noble, and Tishomingo. Services were held May 9, at First United Methodist Church in Ada.

Mary Moelling, mother of Rev. Kirt Moelling, and widow of Rev. Eldon Moelling, passed away May 17, 2023. The Moellings served churches beginning in 1953, including Lacy-Harmony Methodist, Garber, Tonkawa, and OKC Penn Avenue, until his retirement in 2005.

Connie English, widow of Rev. Don English, passed May 5, 2023. Her services will be at 11 a.m., June 10, at Epworth Villa. Rev. English was a founder of St. Stephens UMC in Norman, and served in many capacities, as a pastor, conference youth coordinator, and much more.

Nancy Wotring, wife of Rev. Ernie Wotring, died March 28, 2023, in Houston. She was the wife of Rev. Ernie Wotring. The Wotrings served The Christ Experience beginning in 1961, and then OKC Clark and Edmond First. For eight years. Rev. Wotring served as the director of the OCU Wesley Foundation. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., June 24, at First United Methodist in Edmond.

Robert “Bob” Demoss, retired elder, passed away June 2, 2023. From his first appointment in 1948 to Ames, Rev. Demoss served many churches, including Crescent First, Watonga, Geary, Kremlin, and more. Services will be at Noon, June 10, at New Hope UMC.
