Rev. John Foster, retired elder passed away March 29, at age 88. He and his wife, Carol, were married for 59 years. For more than 40 years, Rev. Foster preached in churches like Calumet, Stillwater, Bartlesville, Guthrie, Pryor, Lexington, and more. He attended OU and graduated from the Perkins School of Theology at SMU. Rev. Foster retired from the same conference where his son, Rev. Dr. Mark Foster, is an ordained elder. Services will be at 2 p.m., April 10, at Epworth Villa, with a reception to follow.

Mrs. Gloria Jean Fenn, wife of Rev. Phil Fenn, passed away March 7. The Fenns were married for 63 years, working in active ministry in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. Services were held March 18, at McFarlin UMC, in Norman, where the couple served until Rev. Fenn’s retirement.
