• Mary Kathryn “Kay” Carter, 83, of Guthrie died Nov. 2, 2017. She was the widow of Rev. Delbert Gene Carter, who died in 1999. Among survivors are a son, Lawrence Gene Carter, and three daughters, Mary Debra Holcomb, Rebecca Lynn Adams, and Donna Ann Russell.Service was Nov. 7 at Guthrie-First UMC, where she was a member. • Rabbi Yosef Dan Boaz of Morgan Hill, Calif., died Nov. 2, 2017. He was the father of Rev. Les Bussell, pastor at Snyder and Indiahoma.
• Pamela “Pam” Jean Rowley, 60, of Mannford, died Dec. 2 in Mannford. She was the wife of David Rowley, pastor of Mannford First United Methodist Church. Pam was born May 30, 1957, in Pasadena, Calif. Her survivors include her husband and a son, Bryan, of Durant. Service was scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at Mannford FUMC.
