OCU: Bishop Scholar Application Now Open

High school seniors who feel called to ministry and who are interested in studying in the Oklahoma City University Wimberly School of Religion are encouraged to apply for the prestigious Bishop Scholar Award.

This full-tuition scholarship is awarded to up to three applicants each year and is good for four years of undergraduate study in any of the religion school’s majors: religion (pre-seminary track), religion (general studies), Christian education/youth ministry, interfaith studies, or religion-philosophy.

OCU religion majors are also eligible to apply for the Fast Forward program, a special academic partnership with Saint Paul School of Theology by which students can begin their seminary studies during their senior year of undergraduate studies at OCU.

All students who apply for the Bishop Scholar Award and qualify for admittance are awarded scholarships ranging from 60-80% of tuition.
