National president visits

Featured speaker was Yvette Richards, national president of United Methodist Women, on Aug. 21 for Quayle United Methodist Women’s Day at the Oklahoma City church. Her message: “A Fresh Wind Blowing” (Philippians 4:13). Before the service, she met to pray with the worship leadership for that special day; from left are Senior Pastor Victor McCullough, Quayle UMW President Marsha Lyons, and Richards. Lyons has been chosen to represent the Oklahoma Conference on the national program advisory group. Among other guests were District UMW President Sue Ellis and Conference UMW President Cindy Hull.
