Oklahoma Conference of the United Methodist Church

God’s hands and feet manifested through love

8/12/2016

The work of a foundation includes managing financial assets for churches and ministries within the conference. Here at the Oklahoma United Methodist Foundation, we like to go a step (or two) beyond that.

More than Money

Our mission is Strengthening Ministry for the Kingdom of God. As a staff, we are called to wisely manage your church and ministry assets. More than that, we develop relationships with the pastors and leaders within our United Methodist churches in Oklahoma.

Because of the relationships we develop, we are able to tell these better stories of God’s hands and feet manifested through love in this world.

Our goals take us into personal relationships with pastors through programs like The Academy of Faith & Money; with lay leaders through programs like Arise and Stewardship Focus Day; and with congregations through Legacy Planning seminars.

Do you want to tell a better story?

A legacy gift after your lifetime gives life to a ministry or cause that you love. When you choose to benefit new pastors, youth camps, homeless ministries, or your own church, you provide the fuel to tell a story through that ministry of God’s love in this world. There are so many options for the type of gift that suits your desires and passions. Will you consider telling a Better Story?

For information on how you can tell a Better Story through a legacy gift, contact David Battles at 800-259-6863 or dbattles@okumf.org.
