Annual and special called conferences

Dates for this year’s conferences have been announced. A one-day special called conference will meet 10 am to 4 pm, Saturday, April 22, at Church of the Servant in Oklahoma City. All voting will take place in person.
Another special called conference is scheduled for October 13-14, with times and location to be announced.

This year’s Annual Conference, with the theme ONE: In Christ, In Ministry to the World, is May 22 to 25, at Boston Avenue United Methodist Church in Tulsa. The theme verse for this year’s conference is 1st Corinthians 12:12-13: “Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.”
The special offering focus will benefit the new day care being constructed at Manos Juntas in Rio Bravo, Mexico. A mission team to that location will be announced during this year’s session. Willie Berman of Manos Juntas will be a special guest.
Digital pre-conference workbooks will be available by May 1. Any questions may be directed to AC2023@okumc.org.
