GROWING DISCIPLES — below, this picture from 2007 hangs in Seminole-First UMC. The children who posed then had become youth group members in 2013. That’s when the photo at top was taken; Vacation Bible School leaders realized the same young people were involved in that program. Recreating the scene was "great fun for our children and youth — and all of us adults who have watched them grow all these years," said Donna Magruder, church secretary. In 2014, Seminole’s VBS will be during the last week of July. Standing: Ruth Whitt. Sitting on the sign: Mallory Magruder, Rachel Hallum, Taylor Peters, Brittney Stevens, Mackenzie Stevens, and Gabby Peters.
