Dr. Mary Glenda Morris Bland, 76, of Tulsa died on her birthday, Sept. 24, 2013. She was the wife of Rev. Dick Bland, who is pastor at Tulsa-Epworth UMC.

Mary was born in El Reno. She held a doctorate in education from Oklahoma State University and had worked for the state Department of Human Services.

Among survivors are her husband, Rev. Bland; daughter Lela Kristen Bland-Myers; three sons, Phil, Keith, and Daniel; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Service was Sept. 28 at Tulsa-Centenary UMC, where she was a longtime member.

Lillian Beatrice Marsh Havens, 98, of Yukon, died Sept. 12, 2013. She was the widow of Rev. J. Louis Marsh.

Lillian was born Aug. 6, 1915, in Walters.

She was predeceased by Rev. Marsh, her husband of 52 years; and by Alvin Havens, her husband for 12 years.

Among survivors are sons Donald Marsh and James Marsh, seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

Service will be in Duncan at a later date. Memorials to: Spanish Cove Employee Appreciation Fund.

Adoption

McKenna Jean was adopted Sept. 30, 2013, by Mindy and Rev. Daniel Dennison, Wesley Foundation director at the University of Oklahoma.
