Senior adults meet at Camp Egan

8/16/2013

Cyber crime. Physical health. Managing money. Methodist history.

Workshops on these topics, a songfest, three worship services, a mission project, and more are planned for the Senior Adult Summit on Sept. 9-11 at Camp Egan.

Senior adults will "Embrace the Adventure" with peers at this specialty camp. Housing will be in Holliman Lodge.

Presenters are Steve Kunzwerler, chief of the Criminal Division, Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office; physical therapist Holly Thompson of Tulsa; accountant Mike Reynold; and Don Johnson from Asbury UMC, Tulsa.

The songfest will be led by Chris Moore, music minister at OKC-Sunny Lane. Preachers will be David Thomas of Tulsa and Dan Pulver of Bixby.

As a mission project, campers are asked to donate new twin- and queen-size sheet sets.
