| Keeping his promise to delighted Vacation Bible School students, Pauls Valley Pastor Mark Watson kisses a camel on July 12. He also kissed a pig and a llama! For the second consecutive year, the VBS children and adults surpassed the summer program’s mission giving goal. In 2012, they raised money to stock a pond with fish, through Heifer International. This year the children were challenged on three levels: third place, $240, providing for two pigs; second, $300, two llamas; and first place, $510, a camel. With the help of the Pauls Valley-First congregation, a total of $1,415 was raised. An international family will receive the livestock. |  |
