Idelle Ophelia Taylor McDaniel, 99, of Nashville, Tenn., died Jan. 27, 2013. She was the widow of Rev. Marion F. McDaniel. Idelle was born Aug. 10, 1913, in Carbon, Texas. The McDaniels served almost 40 years in ministry, most of that in western Oklahoma. Following her husband’s death in 1982, Mrs. McDaniel moved from Alva to Nashville, where she was a member of Calvary UMC. Survivors include three daughters, Charlotte McAnally, Carolyn Westcote, and Cathy Johnson; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Service was Feb. 2 at the Nashville church, with burial at Alva. Birth Julia Grace Goggs was born Jan. 17, 2013, to John and Rev. Robyn Goggs, associate pastor at OKC-Church of the Servant. |
