Rev. Dr. Rollo Dwayne Conner, 74, of Tulsa died Oct. 9, 2012.

Dwayne was born Aug. 22, 1938, in Pryor. He received a Ph.D. from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He married Ruthann Corlett on June 12, 1964.

For more than 40 years, he served as a pastor and as a university and seminary professor. Between 1993 and 2005, he ministered at Stilwell and Tulsa-Trinity churches. He also served briefly as assistant superintendent for the Tulsa District. He continued to preach and lead after retiring in 2006.

Survivors include his daughter, Bethann Conner. His wife preceded him in death.

Service was Oct. 20 at Tulsa-St. Mark’s.
