30 Days of Prayer -OSU Wesley calls for spiritual help

8/31/2012

As the fall semester begins at Oklahoma colleges and universities, the Board of Higher Education & Campus Ministry is asking United Methodists to pray for the students everywhere.

Endorsed by the board, a 30 Days of Prayer initiative began August 20, launched by the Wesley Foundation at OSU in Stillwater.

Campus Minister Michael Bartley said, "It is our hope that United Methodists would pray for Oklahoma students everywhere and all the campus ministries our churches support. Imagine the difference thousands of people will make in the lives of these young people as we pray for their safety, the challenges they will encounter, and the continued growth of their relationship with God!"

The OSU Wesley Foundation created a Devotion Guide for use during those 30 Days of Prayer. Content for the online guide was written by past and present students.

The guide is available at www.wesleyosu.com.

For more information about 30 Days of Prayer, the Devotion Guide, and how you can get involved in the ministries of the Wesley Foundation at OSU, contact Rev. Bartley at 405-880-7194 or osupastor@gmail.com.
