Oklahoma Conference of the United Methodist Church

50 Days of Prayer for the General Conference

3/9/2012

"50 Days of Prayer for the General Conference" begin March 16 and continue through May 4.

Every church member is called to participate in this global prayer movement, steered by The Upper Room and the Prayer Support Team, part of the General Board of Discipleship.

For this purpose, a free daily prayer resource is online: http://50daysofprayer.upperroom.org.

This makes it possible for everyone to read the same Scriptures, share the same insights, and pray the same prayers with and for the 988 General Conference delegates—18 of them from the Oklahoma Conference. They meet April 24-May 4 in Tampa, Fla.
