The training event requires a minimum of three hours, and by the end of it you will:

Know how you and your family can participate in the "50 Days of Prayer."
-
Know how to organize a prayer vigil in your church or district.

Create a Mantle of Prayer that will be worn by one of the members of the Oklahoma delegations or other delegation members from your jurisdiction.
-
Pray with others from our area for God to give wisdom and clarity to the leaders of our Church.
-
Enjoy learning and helping others and meeting new people.
Our leaders for this event are:
--- Rev. Tom Albin, who is dean of The Upper Room Ministries and Ecumenical Relations. Tom is a member of the Oklahoma Conference and serves with The Upper Room in Nashville, Tenn., as an extension minister under the appointment of Bishop Hayes. He will lead the prayer training portion of the event.
--- Joyce Estes is from East Point, Fla., where she has her art studio. She is president of the International Silk Painters and artistic design director for the Prayer Room at General Conference. Joyce will teach the participants to create the Mantle of Prayer from silk.
