Calls to act quickly were generated for two urban ministries of the Oklahoma Conference: Skyline, in Oklahoma City, and Restore Hope, in Tulsa.
- Internet voting through June can help Skyline’s "Clothes for Kids" program win a $50,000 grant from Pepsi. Go to: www.refresheverything.com/clothesforkids. Click "Vote for this idea." "Skyline needs you to vote once every day," urged director Claudia Lovelace.
- Money gifts received by year’s end can help Restore Hope secure $150,000 for its work. The George Kaiser Family Foundation gave the agency a $50,000 grant for emergency rent and food assistance, then pledged to match all new donations, up to $50,000. Find guidelines at www.restorehope.org or call 918-582-5766.
