Painted as a modern woman, Susannah Wesley joins Yolanda Faye Perry, left, and Pam Cottrill for a recent luncheon at Oklahoma Heart Hospital-South. The portrait Susannah is making appearances on behalf of the Conference’s Commission on the Status & Role of Women (COSROW). Watch for her! She accompanies Rev. Cottrill, who chairs COSROW. Susannah Wesley (1669-1742) is especially known as the mother of John, founder of Methodism, and Charles, poet and hymn writer. The painting is by Debra Hogue, a student at UCO.
