2022 OIMC Annual Conference to include race dialogues

The 2022 Annual Conference Session of The Oklahoma Indian Missionary Conference will be held Friday through Sunday, June 10-12, at the Southwest Region Center located outside of Anadarko, Oklahoma. The theme is, “Peace in God’s Presence.” Marcus Briggs-Cloud will be the music leader for the conference.

Rev. Bessie Hamilton, associate director of Multi-ethnic Initiatives of the Oklahoma Annual Conference will be the guest preacher for the Saturday evening service. Rev. Hamilton will address the race dialogues that have been going on with the leadership of both conferences. Both groups have visited the Washita Battlefield site and the Tulsa Greenwood District to address the two historical massacres.

The business will begin Friday afternoon and worship is Friday and Saturday evening at 7 p.m. All guests are invited to join us for the noon and evening meals at 5:30 served by the local churches. The center is four miles west of Anadarko on State Highway 9. The address is CS2620.
