Clergy Denman Award
The Harry Denman Evangelism Award for clergy was presented to Rev. David Guajardo (center), pastor at Vida de Abundancia in Laverne, on May 25 during the 2022 Oklahoma Annual Conference. Rev. Derrek Belase (right) presented David with the award while he and his wife Gloria Guajardo (left) gave a report for the Cimarron District. Guajardo has pastored the multi-lingual church since 2014, and the congregation just broke ground on a new building. Photo by Meagan Ewton.

Laity Denman Award
The Harry Denman Evangelism Award for laity was presented to Pat McGarrity on May 24. McGarrity helped establish the Project Transformation program in Oklahoma in 2022. Both before and after establishing the program, McGarrity was an advocate for children’s education and active in the missional work in the church. The award was presented by Rev. The COSROW Award

The One Matters Award
Rev. Tae Won Son (left), pastor of Tulsa-Korean, is the recipient of the 2022 One Matters Award. The award celebrates a church that had at least one profession of faith or baptism after reporting zero the previous year. The award was presented by C.
