Friday, August 25, 5 pm - Saturday, August 26, 5 pm at Canyon Camp.

This year's social justice retreat sponsored by the Board of Church and Society of the Oklahoma Conference of the United Methodist Church is on the topic of "Tearing Down Walls: Dismantling Systemic Racism."

The Retreat will include leaders from Crossroads Anti-Racism Organizing and Training who will help us through our work to understand and address systemic racism in Oklahoma. On Friday, we will have an evening of listening to hear stories of our sisters' and brothers' experiences and perspectives concerning racism in Oklahoma followed by worship together. On Saturday, we will have the Crossroads workshop addressing systemic racism, ending the retreat late that afternoon with a service of communion and sending forth.
