A Generation of Hope: What it means to prevail in the HIV/AIDS epidemic


The HIV/AIDS pandemic in sub-Saharan Africa has already orphaned a generation of children—and now seems set to orphan generations more. Today, over 11 million children under the age of 15 have been robbed of one or both parents by HIV/AIDS. By 2010 that number may have grown to 20 million. This video vividly pictures the life circumstances, struggles, and dreams of today’s orphans. It was filmed on location in Zimbabwe in 2001. A Global Ministries—UMCOR DVD.
