NOTE: Each adult working an Oklahoma Conference or district event/camp are required to go through a screening process that involves completing an Application/Information Form, that includes:

• securing references from three people,

• submitting a self-disclosure statement, we also have a conference "disclosure" statement regarding background checks. 

• authorizing a criminal background check (except those under 18),

• and participate in training.

This online training will complete your training requirement. It is divided into seven sections and you can go through the whole unit at one time or through one or two modules at a sitting. (Each session is taken from the Event Director and Camp Deans Manual.)

STEP ONE: View the session video. A short video introduces each section. Videos are best viewed in Internet Explorer or Safari browsers. 
 
STEP TWO: After viewing the video you will read material covering that topic. 

STEP THREE: The final step in completing a section is an on-line quiz to test your knowledge. You will follow these steps for each segment until you have reached 90% correct on each quiz. You do have permission to use the reading material provided, which is also found in the Event Director and Camp Deans Manual, to find answers if you need to. Just be sure YOU are doing the work yourself! You will be asked to register the first time you access the quizzes and to log on each time you take a quiz.

CERTIFICATION: Upon obtaining a passing score for the whole course (90% in each of the seven sections), a notice of certification will be sent to you and your supervising District Superintendent or Conference Staff supervisor.
