Celebrating Oklahoma Town and Rural Ministry The United Methodist Small Church and Rural Fellowship is a state and national voluntary group within the United Methodist Church composed of lay and clergy who share a common concern for the Christian message as it engages issues of town and country small churches. The Fellowship works to build a positive image of the small membership church in our great state. In order to lift up these remarkable churches, the Fellowship recognizes outstanding small membership churches (town and country) at a luncheon during Annual Conference. Take a minute to think about the churches in your district that are making a difference in the ministry for the Lord and His mission of love and grace. Please forward or mail the award nomination form to them so that their missions and programs may be highlighted. A selection committee will announce the exemplary churches early in May. (Application is below) Contact Claudean Harrison, UMRF President, for more information regarding the luncheon and Fellowship membership. clharrison@aol.com. (see membership flyer below) The Fellowship believes that God works through people, churches and communities regardless of size or setting. The Fellowship works to build a positive image of the small membership church with focus on these tasks:
