Vision: The Muskogee District seeks to prayerfully offer missional experiences that provide opportunities to share the love of Christ in ways that make a Christian difference, focusing on relationships as we work and serve. 

 

Purpose: Muskogee District Board of Missions is to provide Local, District, Conference, National and International missional experiences that are time and cost sensitive.

  

Muskogee District Board of Missions Core Values

·        Supported and approved by Oklahoma VIM

·        Led by trained VIM leader

·        Broad representation of churches throughout the    Muskogee District.*

·        Sensitive to issues of time and financial resources, week long or shorter missions will be encouraged    

·        Team building and team unity before, during and after the trip are a priority. 

 

As a connectional church, the Muskogee District Board of Missions supports the missional boards of the United Methodist Church. We will support and follow the guidelines and resources available through Oklahoma Conference Volunteer in Missions (VIM) and the General Board of Global Ministries (GBGM).

* Applications for scholarships for District sponsored mission trips are available through the Muskogee District Office.
