Finding New Disciples

Across United Methodism there is a groundswell movement to start new faith communities. As a denomination we intend to start 650 new churches by 2012. They will be of all sizes and shapes, reaching a variety of people.

How do you find the new disciples that
Jesus is calling your church to reach?

  • Here are some ideas from the UMC Rethink Church materials to help get you started.
  • Ask your pastor to do some research on the Link2Lead site.
You can find out a lot of information about your own community by looking at this geographic data. (Age-groups, types of programming desired, ethnicity and more.)
