World Religions Expo open to all on March 30

Education and engagement are pathways to increased understanding. On March 30, OCU’s Wimberly School of Religion will provide an opportunity to learn about different faiths in an interactive environment.

From 2 to 5 that afternoon in the lower level of the Chapel, individuals, youth groups, and local churches are invited to an open house of learning.

OCU students from “World Religions” and “Introduction to Biblical Literature” classes will host this event along with people from the wider community who represent some 20 religions, branches of Christianity, and interfaith organizations.

Participants will visit with representatives at numerous displays, interacting to learn about different beliefs and customs. Some booths will offer food that showcases the traditions.

Bring your questions and be ready for a deeper understanding of your own faith and that of others.
