Moore-First groundbreaking set March 28
Moore-First UMC will break ground for its building project at 9 a.m. on Palm Sunday, March 28.
A reception will follow the ceremony, and then Bishop Robert Hayes Jr. will be the guest preacher for the 10:30 a.m. worship service. A palm parade, candle lighting, and welcome ritual for the Confirmation class are also part of that service.
The church address is 201 W. Main St., and pastor is Tish Malloy. Because of the special activities, early worship and church school will not be held.
