|"Get wisdom—it’s worth more than money; choose insight over income every time." (Proverbs 16:16, The Message Bible)
United Methodist Student Day will be observed Nov. 28. The Scripture above appears in resource material available through the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry (GBHEM).
Donations to this Special Sunday provide scholarships and loans to deserving UM students. Oklahomans are among those who receive these funds.
This collection supports goals in both the Oklahoma Conference Strategic Plan ("to recruit, equip, assess, and send spiritual leaders") and the Four Foci of the denomination ("developing principled Christian leaders for the church and the world").
